Hi, I’m Diego and I have been a Café Cultor barista for about 2 years now. I am dedicated to being a barista because coffee for me has always been the factor that generates connections, story threads, daily situations that generate emotions, I love coffee and the whole process behind it is a chain of hard work, passion and art. I’m a barista because I like to present a smile every time I start a conversation with someone who just goes for a coffee and ends up receiving a dose of energy to continue their day to day. As baristas we have the obligation and responsibility to be agents of change, to build a better coffee-growing country, where we shall know more about coffee than we know about wine, where we give vital importance to farmers and, why not, to mother earth.
I love with my heart and soul the fact that I’m the one behind each cup of coffee, I am proud to have arrived in the universe of specialty coffee knowing absolutely nothing about it and now being able to teach our customers. My biggest dream is to continue moving the world through coffee on a larger scale; building my own coffee shops in different parts of the world.

Maybe it’s a world apart, or an entire galaxy, but I’m passionate about the world of coffee… Maybe because of an eternal love once known, but now more than ever for a culture, a millenary and ancestral culture that connects us and will connect us our whole lives as coffee lovers, providing culture and love for a fruit so complete and complex, and at the same time so full of flavors, that it involves you with a desire to know more about it and get immersed in this love, love for the coffee.

Hello, I’m Santiago and coffee for me is an opportunity, it is the occasion, coffee for me is a beverage that creates magic inside each cup. Beyond its complexity when it comes to seeing coffee as a specialty prime matter, it is for me the mystical reason for a beautiful conversation, it is the melancholy of rainy days, and the calories when we feel cold, it works like a magic power.
I wanted to become a barista as a means to continue climbing in the industry, I became a barista to be able to educate people about coffee consumption, convey compassion and also, beyond the brew itself, I am a barista because I love to see the people’s smiles after tasting a delicious cup of coffee.
Well, I am in the world of specialty coffee for passion, for dedication, and now I am a roaster, one of the steps of greatest responsibility and respect, because it is the roaster who has the task of representing all the work behind the coffee beans and highlighting the best profile of a coffee.
I like to think that I didn’t choose coffee, to say that would be selfish of me as I have never imagined being a barista. I like to think that coffee chose me, it seduced me in a discreet romantic way; every time I felt its fragrance, my heart set fire and my mind extinguished reason.
I wandered aimlessly through the gastronomic world for two years; I have enjoyed eccentric nights behind cocktail bars, I have navigated with courage in kitchens that never stopped, but in none of them I found the peace and love that I have found working, communicating and enjoying a cup of coffee. Awakening priceless smiles, telling surprising
stories, respecting and enjoying coffee is the opportunity to be a barista.
